Shared Watch Lists can be viewed by all Prophet.Net members. Simply click on the name of a Shared Watch List to view it. If you're a Premium Member and you like what you see, you can Subscribe to the list.
Shared Watch List
Premium members can "subscribe" to Shared Watch Lists. As a subscriber to a Shared Watch List, you'll see the list as it's maintained by the Owner. As the owner of the list makes changes over time, you will see the most current list of symbols and tags. However, you will not be able to change the symbols or their tags yourself.
When you subscribe to a Shared Watch List, the list will appear with the Owner's screen name in your list of Watch Lists. When you use Prophet JavaCharts, you'll see the lists to which you subscribe in the left panel, and you can quickly click through their charts. And on the Watch Lists page, you'll be able to select the Watch List and view custom minicharts. You can also access the list via the Quote Module at the top of each page.
When the Owner of a list makes changes, you will see those same changes within a minute or so. If the owner of the list makes the list private in the future, you will no longer be able to view the symbols.
As a Basic member, you will need to upgrade to a Premium Membership in order to subscribe to published lists.
Sharing Your Watch Lists
To share any custom Watch List that you've created, view the list on the Watch Lists page by selecting it in the drop-down menu. Check the box labeled "Publish Watch List." (This checkbox will not appear if you're viewing a linked Watch List.)
The first time you share a Watch List, you will be asked for a Watch List description. This description tells your fellow members in the Prophet community about the Watch List, so be sure to include any information that you would want them to know.
Remember, if you are a Basic member, you may track only one Watch List. You can share this Watch List; however, you would need to upgrade to subscribe to Shared Watch Lists from other members.
